A fashion website run by a St. Louis County woman who will appear in a reality TV series is drawing complaints about delays in deliveries and other customer service issues.
BBB issued a press release today citing a rising number of complaints about Love of Labels Boutique, a clothing website run by Brittish C. Williams, who says she will appear next month in a reality TV show, “Basketball Wives of L.A.” Williams’ fiance is Lorenzo Gordon, whom she identified as a professional basketball player who most recently played in Argentina.
The 30 complaints lodged against Love of Labels cite long delays in receiving merchandise, poor processing of returns or exchanges and poor quality merchandise. Some customers said they waited months to get their merchandise, and when they did get it, they had problems resolving issues such as the wrong size, poor quality or the need to exchange merchandise.
Williams recently gave a television interview, where she talked about the business, which she said is growing quickly. She said she plans to introduce her own designer shoes and jewelry soon.
BBB advises consumers to check new or unfamiliar websites out thoroughly before placing an order. BBB Business Reviews show whether a business has complaints and how they were resolved.
Love of Labels’ return and exchange policies could be a red flag that the firm doesn’t put customer service first and foremost. The site outlines an exchange program, but it also says. “We don’t do refunds. We don’t do cancellations either.”
